Alan: 40's High strung sports fanatic ex- sports writer struggling screen writer-always looking for an entertainment contact to pitch his screen play ideas. An ex-manager of a comedy club in 1980’s always trying out material on his co- workers. With a mouth-piece from being a former radio announcer: who sounds like he is on the radio when he is raising money for the charities on the phone. Another characteristic is that he likes to flirt with some of the woman workers who are actors; playing that game so they’ll go out with him; but in a non- aggressive way.
