George
George:
Late
30’s, one of the computer supervisors, very shy, quiet & soft spoken. He
works as an accountant at his morning job then arrives at the phone room in the
afternoon. He is so meek that he walks around the phone room checking to make
sure the callers are on the right campaign on his tippy toes. He never has any
lines on the show, he just sneaks around from cubicle to cubicle meekly, quietly
Grew
up in a conservative, left brained family full of uptight accountants. His
mother & father both owned an accounting business in downtown Seattle.
His mother was a dried out thin lipped Wasp & his father was a
balding, paunchy, sexually frustrated mess that stayed in the marriage
because of the business. The business was so lucrative that they bought a
stately, large house in the suburbs of Seattle, Washington. The house like
the family was white & barren on the inside with no trace of warmth.
As a teenager, George, hardly being able to take the cold, harshness of
his parents & the environment would spend his afternoons after school
on the floor of the closet of his room looking at the lewdest porn
magazines he could find.
When
he started cutting his arms & legs with a razor blade out of pure joy,
his parents decided to take him to a psychiatrist, then a boarding school.
There,
he straightened up his act to a certain degree got straight A’s, then
went off to one of the most prestigious colleges on the West Coast.
After
college, he went to work for a major accounting firm, doing very well
until he had an emotional breakdown, quit talking & mainly mimed his
requests. The boss of course, could not take anymore of his psychosis
& fired him. George’s big dream was to become a world famous mime
& to tour Europe & Asia.
He
ended up moving to LA & briefly went to Mime School, but got kicked
out when he refused to talk to answer any of the teachers questions.
After
that, he went to the “Phone Room” to apply for a job & Henry hired
him because he fit in with all the other crazies , he wouldn’t bother
Henry with unnecessary talking & he had very good technical skills on
the computer.
